NOOKS

The Everywhere Balm™

The Everywhere Balm™

You don’t need more hydration. You need to stop losing it.

Barrier repair for skin that's irritated, thinning, or won't hold moisture.

An anhydrous lipid system for compromised, reactive, and ageing skin.

Not a moisturiser. Not an active. The structural barrier support your skin needs when other products are too much, or not enough.

Reduces transepidermal water loss. Replenishes intercellular lipids. Quiets reactive skin. Absorbs fast. No sticky residue.

15 botanicals. No water. No petroleum. No fragrance.

Our 60g tin lasts approx. 3+ months.

The Feel

Silk. Soft-matte.
Never slick, never shiny.

Melts in on contact.
Gone within a few minutes.

Absorbs into the outer skin layer,
instead of sitting on top until it rubs off.

No greasy film.
No wax drag.
No residue.

Softness that holds,
even after you wash your hands.

Skin that feels like skin again.
Comfortable. Flexible. Quiet.

The Science

A fully anhydrous system. No water to evaporate. No filler to dilute it.

Just a lipid matrix built to integrate into your barrier. Not sit on top of it.

It gets in first. MCT and squalane move fast through the stratum corneum, cutting surface drag and pulling actives with them. Jojoba mirrors your skin's own lipids, slotting into the gaps where cohesion has broken down. Shea restores flexibility, so micro-cracks stop reopening.

Then it holds. Beeswax forms a breathable occlusive. It slows transepidermal water loss, so hydration stays where it's meant to.

Then the quiet work starts. Bisabolol quiets reactive skin. Calendula and marshmallow root support barrier repair and settle the noise, without triggering more reactivity. Low-dose bakuchiol and helichrysum work at the structural level.

The result:
Cohesion.
Elasticity.
Softness that stays.

Six mechanisms, one layer.

Absorbs like skincare, protects like an ointment, and doesn't make you choose.

Why She's Superior

Most products are 90% water.

You're paying for something that evaporates. Water goes in, water escapes, you reapply. The routine gets longer because nobody fixed the barrier that holds moisture in. Only the surface. If your skin can't hold what you apply, it doesn't matter what you apply.

Petroleum jelly is a basic bitch.

It seals the surface. Heavy, shiny, occlusive. But it replenishes nothing. No lipids, no integration, no support. It traps what's already there, which is fine if what's already there is fine. If your barrier's depleted, you're just sealing in the problem.

Your actives and your SPF are doing (most) the heavy lifting.

NOOKS is what makes them land. When the barrier's compromised, actives penetrate too fast, hit too hard, and skin turns reactive, dry, unpredictable. The lipid layer regulates all of it. How much gets through, how much stays, how much stings. NOOKS supports the barrier underneath. Less reapplying. Less reactivity. More skin that actually holds.

FAQs

Q: What's in this?

A: NOOKS Everywhere Balm is made with 15 purposeful ingredients and no fillers, added fragrance, or petroleum.

The full INCI list is: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Calendula Officinalis Extract, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Squalane, Althaea Officinalis Root Extract, Plantago Major Leaf Extract, Tocopherol, Glyceryl Laurate, Leptospermum Scoparium (Manuka) Oil, Bakuchiol, Bisabolol, Helichrysum Italicum Extract.

Full list also printed on tin.

Q: Where is this made?

A: The balm is manufactured in China to our exact specification. Everything else is Melbourne. The brand, the formulation, the science, the packing, the wrapping, the person reading this, is one woman and a small team. We're female-founded and self-funded.

We looked locally first. No Australian manufacturer could deliver the science at the scale and quality we needed, at the order volumes a small business can actually commit to. Our manufacturer is world-leading and we weren't willing to sacrifice the formula's efficacy to move it. Bringing it home is the plan, and we'll do it as soon as we can.

If this is a dealbreaker for you, we completely understand. Email hi@nooksbalm.com and we'll refund you, no questions.

Q: Why no petroleum?

A: Petroleum creates a dependency cycle—it sits on skin without nourishing it, so you need more. NOOKS uses plant-based barriers that actually support your skin's function. We're post-petroleum.

Q: What's Bakuchiol doing in there?

A: Bakuchiol is a gentle, plant-based alternative to retinol. It supports skin renewal without the irritation. Because your sensitive bits don't need actives that punch.

Q: Can I use it on my face?

A: Yes. Under-eyes, dry patches, crow's feet, lips. Anywhere your face decides to misbehave. She's intimate-safe, so your face is easy.

Q: Will it feel greasy?

A: No. NOOKS absorbs in 90 seconds with a soft-matte finish. Your skin looks like skin, not a glazed donut. Not a petroleum princess in sight.

Q: What's different from Vaseline?

A: Everything. Vaseline is petroleum—an industrial byproduct that sits on your skin like cling wrap. Doesn't absorb. Doesn't nourish. Just seals in whatever's already there and calls it a day. Your skin gets dependent, not better.

NOOKS absorbs in 90 seconds. 15 botanicals that actually repair, protect, and get out of the way. No petroleum. No dependency cycle. No pretending suffocation is skincare.

Vaseline is a petroleum princess. NOOKS is the replacement.

Q: Can I actually use this on my vulva?

A: Yes. That's the point. NOOKS is formulated for external intimate use—safe around (not inside) mucosal areas. No fragrance, no irritants, no drama. Your vulva deserves competence.

Q: Is it really edible?

A: Edible-grade means safe for incidental oral contact—lips, nipples, anywhere mouths might go. We're not suggesting you eat it for breakfast, but if some ends up in your mouth, you'll survive.

Q: Can I use NOOKS after shaving or sex?

A: Yes. Post-shave, post-wax, post-intimacy—she's built for the aftermath. Reduces friction, soothes irritation, supports recovery. Apply externally and carry on.

Q: Is NOOKS safe for sensitive skin and lips?

A: That's the whole point. Intimate-safe, mucosa-considered, no fragrance, no irritants. If she can handle your most delicate zones, your lips are easy.

Q: Does it have a scent?

A: No added fragrance. You might catch a faint whisper of botanicals—shea, calendula, a hint of manuka—but nothing performative. She doesn't announce herself.

Q: What else can I use NOOKS for?

A: Most things. That's the point of an everywhere balm.

One tin, fifteen botanicals, and a barrier-first job that holds up pretty much anywhere skin is under pressure. Dry, tight, rough, raw, post-friction. If skin is struggling, it's worth a try.

INTIMATE CARE: Vulva comfort, post-sex soothing, dryness, everyday friction. Yes, even there.

FRICTION & CHAFING: Inner thighs, under breasts, between toes, underarms, sports chafing.

FACE: Fine lines, dry patches, under eyes, post-shave, lips, and the gentle retinol step at 0.5% bakuchiol.

ECZEMA & RASHES: Eczema-prone and dermatitis-prone skin, heat-prone irritation, itchy or reactive patches.

DRY SKIN: Hands, cuticles, elbows, heels, knees, anywhere dry or cracked.

SPECIALIZED: Nipple care (breastfeeding or chafing), nose (from blowing), earlobes (from earrings)

POST-SHAVE & POST-WAX: Razor-stressed skin, post-wax tightness, the bits that sting after grooming

EVERYDAY ZONES: Nose after a cold, earlobes after earrings, knuckles, anywhere small and overlooked

The barrier mechanism works anywhere you have skin. If it's dry, tight, rough, or reactive, try it. Suitable for adults, teens, and children 5+.
