The short version
We pack it ourselves, properly, and get it onto Australia Post within two business days. You get tracking. If something goes wrong in transit, we sort it.

Free standard domestic shipping on 2 or more balms, orders $50 and over. Free international on orders over $100.

Where we ship
Australia, standard and Express, via Australia Post. Standard is free on orders of 2 or more balms ($50+). Otherwise it's calculated at checkout.

International, we ship worldwide, rates calculated at checkout. Free on orders over $100.

Shipping costs

Australia:

  • 2 or more balms ($50+): free standard shipping
  • Single balms and orders under $50: standard shipping calculated at checkout
  • Express: available on any order at checkout, charged in full

International:

  • Orders under $100: standard international rates apply, typically $15 to $35 depending on destination and weight
  • Orders over $100: free

A note on currency. Prices display in your local currency at checkout, USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, NZD and the rest, at a 1:1 conversion from AUD to keep things simple. The Everywhere Balm at $29.95 AUD displays as $29.95 USD, €29.95 EUR, and so on.

Processing time
We pack in-house and aim to have your order on Australia Post within 48 hours, which is 2 business days. During launches, sales, or the internet discovering us, give it up to 5 business days.

We don't pack on weekends or public holidays. There's no mail service those days, so nothing would move anyway. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding the days Australia decides to have a public holiday.

You'll get a confirmation email with tracking the moment she leaves.

Delivery times
Once she's with the carrier, she's in their hands. These are estimates, never guarantees.

Australia, metro (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth):

  • Standard: 2 to 4 business days
  • Express: 1 to 2 business days

Australia, regional:

  • Standard: 4 to 6 business days
  • Express: 2 to 3 business days

Australia, remote (NT, far regional, islands):

  • Standard: 5 to 8 business days
  • Express: 3 to 5 business days

International:

  • Standard: 7 to 21 business days depending on destination
  • Customs, duties, and local import taxes are yours to cover. We can't control what your country charges

Tracking
Every order gets tracking. No exceptions. You'll receive a dispatch email with your tracking number, the carrier, and a link that actually works.

If tracking says "delivered" and it isn't
Before emailing us:

  • Check everywhere. Front door, back door, mailbox, behind the bins, with the neighbour who "didn't see anything"
  • Wait 24 hours. Carriers sometimes scan early
  • Check with housemates. Someone may have grabbed it

Still missing after 48 hours, email hi@nooksbalm.com with the subject "Missing Package, Order #[number]" and we'll investigate, file a claim, and help you sort it.

If we missed something from your order
Left a balm out by mistake. That one's on us. Message hi@nooksbalm.com with your order number and we'll get the rest out to you, on Express where we can, to make up for the wait.

Damaged products
Arrived broken, leaking, or looking like it survived a war. Email hi@nooksbalm.com with the subject "Damaged, Order #[number]", a photo of the damage, your order number, and a quick description. We'll send a replacement straight away, or refund, your call. Don't post the damaged one back. Bin it, keep it, use it as a cautionary tale. We don't need it.

Lost packages
If tracking shows no movement for 10 or more days, email hi@nooksbalm.com with the subject "Lost Package, Order #[number]". We'll lodge an inquiry with Australia Post, investigate, and reship or refund if it's confirmed lost. Carrier investigations take 7 to 14 days and we don't set their pace, but we'll keep you posted.

Stolen packages
If tracking shows "delivered" but it's been taken from your mailbox or porch, that's genuinely outside our control. Once it's delivered, it's legally yours. Don't just write it off though. Reach out to hi@nooksbalm.com and we'll see what we can do. No promises, but we'd rather help than shrug.

Address changes
Before we ship, email hi@nooksbalm.com straight away with your order number and the correct address. If we haven't dispatched, we'll fix it.

After we ship, it's out of our hands. Contact Australia Post to redirect, fees apply, or wait for it to bounce back to us.

Double-check your address before ordering. We ship to exactly what you enter, and typos aren't ours to wear.

Where we ship to

  • Residential addresses
  • Business addresses, include the company name
  • PO Boxes, Australia
  • Parcel Lockers, Australia
  • Not freight forwarders. Too many issues, and it's out of our hands once it reaches them

Signature requirements
Most orders don't need a signature. The carrier leaves them in a safe spot. A signature is required for orders over $100 AUD, automatically, for some Express addresses, and for areas the carrier flags as high-risk. If you won't be home, use a parcel locker or ship to work.

Multiple items
All items ship together in one package. If you'd like them sent separately, place separate orders and pay separate shipping. We don't split orders.

Undeliverable packages
If the carrier can't deliver, meaning wrong address, refused, or no access, the package comes back to us and we'll email you. You choose: reship, you cover shipping, or refund, minus original shipping. We're not responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect details you provided.
